Woven Work: April
So much is happening in the world of Woven Natural Fertility Care and related areas that once a month we’re gathering some of the thoughts, episodes, posts, and more in one place to help keep it all together. Enjoy!
In the book world. . .
My first book launches July 7th which means April has been a whirlwind of meetings! Marketing, events, recordings, and more!
For the ladies who want to spread the word about the book with the world, they got an email me this week welcoming them to the team and revealing the book cover. Soon, they’ll have the opportunity to read the book before anyone else and maybe even have me come to their city. Pretty fun!
Community Poll
Okay, we are all lovers of words here, so inquiring minds (mainly mine) would like to know:
The more I hear on podcasts and articles about why the publishing industry thinks readers pre-order a book specifically, the more interested I am in hearing from the actual readers who pre-order. If you’ve pre-ordered in the past or regularly pre-order books, would you answer the poll and even leave a comment as to why? We will all benefit!
Notes of Interest
I appreciated this post by Hannah Rowan exploring the 28 app and why it may or may not provide what women are really looking for. . .
Your Favorite Post from April
Back in January, our Community Poll asked whether or not you think using a method of natural family planning would influence the frequency of sex within a marriage. Boy did you answer! So now it was time to explore what the data says.
I really enjoyed writing and researching this article and it looks like you all did too — it was our most read post during April!
By the way, do you notice how this article has very few hearts and comments? I don’t know why, but we Substackers will read and love a piece, message the author about how much it meant to us, but never like or re-share it. Have you all noticed this too? (I admit I’m guilty of the same!) Nothing wrong with it— it’s just interesting to me!
